Gaming Plattform Mascot

In collaboration with ESports Switzerland, I had the exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of their gaming platform by introducing a captivating mascot concept aimed at fostering a sense of community among gamers and enhancing the overall user experience.

The challenge was to create a mascot that not only complemented the brand but also added a friendly and approachable element to the platform’s user interface. I took inspiration from the existing app logo and seamlessly integrated a charming character with a cute face and swirly arms, injecting a playful vibe into the brand identity.

To elevate the mascot beyond static imagery, I went on to develop a custom rig using After Effects, allowing for dynamic and engaging animations. By crafting a range of motions, the mascot came to life, breaking away from the conventional static positions typically associated with mascots. This dynamic approach aimed to captivate users and create a more interactive and enjoyable interface.

To ensure seamless integration into the app without compromising on performance, I utilized the Lottie Plugin. This innovative tool allowed me to export the animations as lightweight SVG files, preventing any adverse impact on the app’s loading times. The result was a visually pleasing and user-friendly addition to the platform that not only strengthened the brand identity but also contributed to a more enjoyable and immersive gaming experience.

The mascot animations successfully achieved the goal of making the ESports Switzerland gaming platform more engaging, user-friendly, and visually appealing, creating a lasting impact on the overall brand perception.
